Accepted Author Guideline

*All accepted authors are required to submit all materials such as final paper, copyright form and presentation data online through your page.

Only "Pre-recorded Video" must be upload to the assigned Drop BOX.

OFFICIAL LANGUAGE

The official language of ISSM 2020 is English.

PROGRAM SCHEDULE

The program schedule will be available by the end of October. All authors are requested to update the information on the title of presentation, speaker Name, and contact at the ISSM website with using your ID and password which were informed to you at your submission of abstract. In case that you miss you ID and password, contact ISSM 2020 Japan Office

1. Confirmation for your participation and SPEAKER REGISTRATION

Confirmation for your participation
All speakers are required to confirm your participation through your "My page" to click "Confirm" button by October 19th..

Speaker Registration
All speakers are required to register at ISSM2020 from https://www.semiconportal.com/issm/ by October 30th.
At the online registration Click here, select "Speaker" and register. Do not forget to input your paper number. The fee is 25000JPY.
For student speaker, the fee is free of charge. Speaker Registration link will be available by October 19th.

*If you have some reason that you cannot make it by the deadline, please contact to issm_2020@semiconportal.com by October 19th.

2. FINAL PAPER

Final paper template (word)

All authors are requested to submit the final paper.
Please plan to submit your final paper, formatted to IEEE specifications, by November 26.
Each paper must be no longer than four pages (A4 size) using "ISSM Final paper word template" and submitted in PDF format.
Please have your paper proofread by several people before you submit it.
Once your paper is proofread and all information is correct, please upload your paper in PDF format at the ISSM website with using your ID and password. In case the file is more than 2MB, you need to compress the file into a ZIP file.

Author Biography - Please include a brief one-paragraph author biography at the end of the paper. This will allow the session chairs to properly introduce you before you give your presentation.

*The ISSM Proceedings (online download) is scheduled to be distributed to the registrants 4-5 days prior to ISSM2020.

3. COPY RIGHT FORM

IEEE has sent a eCopyright form information on November 21st to the authors.

4. PRESENTATION Data (POWERPOINT)

All authors are requested to submit the presentation material.
To ensure that all presentations are visually consistent, click here for PowerPoint template.
Your presentation must be received by December 4.
Once it is proofread, please upload your presentation material at the ISSM website with using your password and ID same as submission of the paper.
Our online submission system for final paper and presentation materials accepts only for the electronic data files up to 5MB each. If your final paper or presentation material size is over 5MB, please compress your file into zip file. If your final paper or presentation material size is over 5MB, please compress your file into zip file.
All speakers are requested to use the template.

The total presentation length is 20 minutes including 15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for questions and answers. There will be author's interview period scheduled after the session of the presentation.
The presentation material of the oral session authors is limited to TEN (10) slides at maximum including one cover sheet.

5. Pre-recorded presentation video with slides*

All authors are requested to submit the Pre-recorded presentation video with slides.
Please keep the duration of the video within 15mins.
Upload the file to ISSM Drop Box by December 4.
Please use the following naming convention XXXX.mp4, where XXXX is your paper ID (example: YE-001.mp4).

Note:

  1. Open your Power Point Presentation
  2. Select Slide Show and then select Record Slide Show
  3. Select Record from the beginning
  4. When you are ready, select Record and start speaking.
  5. When you done, save your presentation ton select File and Save as "MPEG4" Format.

6. Attendance at real-time Q&A and Author’s Interview hours

You are required to attend Q&A Period, right after your presentation.
You will be asked the question from audience. The session chair will handle it.
And also, after your session, we will have "Author’s interview hour" about 20 mins. You can go to the virtual table which has your paper number. You can wait for participants to visit your table for 20mins. For the detail about login information will be ready by the beginning of December.
